Mission:
Kalinga ng Ama aims to provide essential services to children in need of special protection ages 3 to 18 years old who are in distress and are in need of care, supervision, counseling and shelter on a drop-in or residential basis. In addition, it hopes to provide a christian environment where children who are destitute, homeless, abandoned or otherwise in need, can grow to become God-loving, wholesome and productive citizens of our country.

Feature Programs

Featuring here are two important programs aside from other programs such as educational, community outreach, values education, Youth leadership and development and Spiritual formation.
Residential Care:
Kalinga ng Ama Shelter for Children was opened to serve the children on a residential basis helping them to change past habits and make a new life with Christ. KNA has reaches over 200 children and youth since opening its doors and is currently home to over 40 children residing at two separate shelters.
KNA's dedication to serving children is displayed in its all-volunteer staff. This organization is able to continue its activities by a vibrant collection of volunteer teachers, care givers, social workers, house parents and workers.
Sustainability:
The shelter is now maximizing its effort to start sustainability projects in order to maintain its programs and services. It started its initial goat raising and dispersal project and later expand it to benefit 200 families and help the shelter augment its fund raising effort.
As of now, the shelter is a home to more than 50 clients and 20 volunteer staff.
